Join the 2012 Winter Arvada Hike Series Guided by Councilmember Mark McGoff

Start off 2012 enjoying the landscape of Arvada while taking more steps toward a healthier you! All hikes are rated easy, start at 9 am and will be approximately 4 miles. Councilmember McGoff will guide all hikes and answer your questions about Arvada!
Please wear sturdy boots or shoes, bring water and snack. Children and infants in strollers are welcome. Please, no dogs. Hikes will continue through rain, snow, sleet or shine! For more information call 303-424-2739.
Hike 1 – January 7. Meet at Creekside Park, 59th and Pierce Street. Hike Ralston Creek Trail east to Gold Strike Park, onto Clear Creek
Trail for a short distance, and return to start point.
Hike 2 – January 21. Meet at Spirit of Christ Church, 80th and Vance Street. Hike Little Dry Creek Trail east to Tennyson Street and return to start point.
Hike 3 – February 11. Meet at Standley Lake Library, 84th and Kipling. Hike irrigation ditch to Standley Lake and then Little Dry Creek Trail west to Alkire and return to start point.
Hike 4 – February 25. Meet at Van Bibber Creek Open Space, 56th and Ward Road. Hike Van Bibber Trail east to Kipling, back west to Indiana Street and return to start point.
